Smyth pining for River City return?

Could it be true: Ryan Smyth back in Oiler silks? Could be, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

At 35 and out of OilerVision for a few years, it’s tough to say whether Smitty has much left in the tank. But my money says that if the Oilers can take Smyth’s hit on the salary cap, he’d be a great re-fit for the Oilers. He’d be a great mentor and one of the few in blue and orange that are willing to pay the price in the hard areas of the rink.
